Born on the 2nd of December, 1982 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model best known for her appearances in both TV shows and films. Brandt was the first actress to make her American debut on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, a period drama. She began her acting career as a New Zealander in the show Diplomatic Immunity. Since then, she has appeared in a ton of TV series, such as of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt started her role as Mazikeen (the role that was played by Tom Ellis Lauren German, as well as Kevin Alejandro) in the urban-fantasy series Lucifer at the beginning of 2016. Brandt was raised as a child in Cape Town South Africa. In her later teens she immigrated along with her parents to Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's career started as a fashion model, appearing in magazine and television ads. Before she became a renowned model, Brandt was employed as a retail salesperson and as a recruitment consultant for information technology. In 2009 she was offered her debut role as Leilani on the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. In the year 2021, her first significant role was in the role of Naevia the slave girl on the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. The role of Naevia has also been played by her in the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker co-starred in three television series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (1010) and Legend of the Seeker 2008 with her. She began playing Mazikeen as a demon who seeks bounty on Netflix's hit show Lucifer. The role is her most prominent up to now. On the show she co-stars with Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
