Maureen FitzSimons's early accomplishments in the performing arts, that is now known by the name of Maureen O'Hara, would certainly have qualified her for being in the "child prodigy" category. For a young Irish girl with talented parents and extended families, these qualities were normal. Maureen entered this loving sanctuary in Ranelagh, Ireland on August 17th of 1920.
